Econometrician

Evoke is seeking an Econometrician to join our team in either Leeds or London. This role offers the opportunity to shape the next generation of marketing intelligence solutions. Our business relies on Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM) to generate insights that inform a variety of marketing decisions. You will play a crucial role in developing and delivering innovative processes to meet this ongoing need.

In this position, you will work on automating data collection, processing, modelling, and reporting to streamline our insights pipeline. Additionally, you will manage ad-hoc projects from inception to delivery, ensuring the needs of key stakeholders are met efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement the next generation of Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM) solutions.
• Deploy and maintain econometric models across various brands and markets.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, support functions, and external partners to drive insights and innovation.
• Enhance marketing efficiency through optimisation and scenario planning.
• Build and maintain marketing optimisation tools, interactive dashboards, and automated processes to support a best-in-class internal econometrics function.

Who We Are Looking For:
We value responsible gambling and seek individuals who align with our ethos. Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Proven MMM experience from a media agency, consultancy, or in-house role within a relevant industry.
• A degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Computer Science) at either undergraduate or postgraduate level.
• Proficiency in Python or R, SQL, and advanced Excel capabilities for modelling, data processing, and post-analysis.
• Strong presentation skills and a solid understanding of the media planning and buying landscape, along with how MMM drives more effective marketing strategies.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly. Self-motivation, critical thinking, and a results-oriented mindset are essential.
