Over the last few years, the Economic Impact team has undertaken projects for the Singapore government, pan-APAC trade bodies, major Western multinational corporations, management consultancies, and Asian tech firms, among others.
Oxford Economics is pleased to offer current university students in Singapore an internship opportunity with its Singapore-based consulting team. One full-time internship position is open within the Economic Impact Consulting team. This role offers practical experience, collaborating with our Economist teams in Singapore and globally.
We seek applicants interested in pursuing an Economics career, eager to learn quickly and contribute to delivering high-quality research and positive results for our diverse clientele.

Key Requirements

We are currently seeking one full-time intern for the period of August to December 2025. This requires securing a Leave of Absence (LOA) from your educational institution in Singapore.
Applicants must be currently enrolled in an Economics degree program at the undergraduate or graduate level. For undergraduates, preference is given to students in their penultimate or final year. International students must undertake a credit-bearing internship according to their university’s regulations. The precise start and end dates for the internship period are flexible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the team in performing economic analysis and research. You’ll work with our economists to draft reports, presentations, and other deliverables.
  • Conduct desk research and literature reviews to stay abreast of current news and economic literature, understanding how economic theories apply to real-world issues.
  • Aggregate and analyze data for project work or proposal development, including creating charts, tables, and content for reports and presentations.

  • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with tools like Power BI, Stata, and R is advantageous.
